Final Project: Part 1

Okay. I need an agenda to keep things running smoothly. Building this game is going to involve a great deal of coding and even more testing. The volatility of OpenFrameworks (Ofx) will ensure I am on the fringe of madness throughout this project. I am just beginning to use this software, so the project will be an excellent learning experience.

Alright, let me attempt to outline some first steps for this project.

– Develop a narrative around the three player game. Rolling balls? hmmmmm. Anyone remember monkey ball?

– Determine the best way to do collisions in Ofx, whether it be using Box2d physics library or some home-brew physics code.

– Link the trackballs with Ofx and test some basic physics in order to fine tune the dynamics of the game.
