During this semester , I ve been exploring ways to connect physical objects to twitter in an interesting way. I’ve been trying to tackle issues in our every day activities. Sending a tweet throught a head massager or sending a smell to your loved one. I’ve been trying to create a narrative , a story to these objects either in a funny\u00a0 or emotional way. For this final project , I would like to push it further . What i mean by that is that i would like to create a physical installation , a bigger experience. Bigger in scale. I want to make it social too. I would like to try using other API and pushing further what I have learned to do with processing and twitter. In one of my ideas , i would like to continue experimenting with smell. I was thinking of creating a installation with different smells that you could trigger by pulling a handle\/string to activate the different smell. Then the most pulled smell would be the “trending smell” that would be mentioned on twitter. Another idea was to create scent making interface . In this case it would be a informative process where people could learn throught twitter how to create different scents with different materials. The other idea was to create a wearable app that could notify you when a friend or a friend of a friend is nearby. A little bit like a physical version of the app named hightlight. Different gestures or movement would be created to ignore or hightlight a certain person . In this case , I would like to skip the barriere of the screen with some sort if wearable .
